This includes all the costs of puchasing the vehicle in country of origin, shipping to New Zealand and the payment of NZ GST (currently 15%) on all the above costs. Please note, most on line auction sites do not include GST, you will however need to pay GST on the purchase price (normally quoted FOB) and the costs of shipping and any insurance you may elect to purchase before you can take possesion of the vehicle.

This includes all the costs included in the Landed price, plus compliance certification, including issue of a VIN number and having it etched onto the vehicle, initial registration and issue of a number plate and six months road user licence, as well as an initial service of the vehicle. This price is inclusive of GST. At this point the vehicle may be legally driven on New Zealand roads.
